Following their joint efforts in December, during which HIUV and U.S. partner H.B. Fuller visited several leading and Tier 2 photovoltaic module brands that have either established or are planning to establish production facilities in the U.S., this month, João Magalhães, Executive Vice President of Engineering Adhesives at H.B. Fuller, and Matt Perry, Vice President of Electronic Energy, led their team to revisit HIUV and key Chinese clients and partners. During this visit, they signed Memorandums of Understanding with several clients investing in PV module manufacturing capacity in the U.S., aiming to deepen partnerships, address the opportunities and challenges of the U.S. PV market, and achieve mutual benefits.
HIUV leverages its technological expertise to provide high-quality encapsulation solutions for the U.S. market. Meanwhile, H.B. Fuller, capitalizing on its local presence, offers stable, efficient, and secure delivery solutions for U.S. customers. Furthermore, H.B. Fuller is committed to pursuing U.S.-based manufacturing to meet the requirements of IRA subsidies, delivering more attractive products and services to its clients.
HIUV continues to accelerate its global localization efforts through strategic initiatives. In the first half of 2024, its Vietnam facility officially commenced operations, enhancing delivery capabilities for overseas clients. In the second half of the year, HIUV entered the U.S. market by collaborating with H.B. Fuller, providing technology licensing for encapsulant film products and rapidly establishing its U.S. presence. These initiatives underscore HIUV's commitment to its strategic goal of accelerating global localized production.
Looking ahead, HIUV will remain focused on the PV module encapsulation materials sector, further solidifying its industry position through rapid global expansion. The company is committed to providing superior and efficient services to its global clients, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner in the PV industry.
